While creating a logo for the Karnataka Learning Partnership (an organisation that fosters better schools and education for children, through individual and organisational participation), the multi-lingual target audience had to be kept in mind.
A dandelion was designed, composed of alphabets and numerals that formed the seed head (with some of them moving in a particular direction), to cue the dispersal of information and learning.
The basic alphabets and numerals are instantly recognizable by a multi-lingual target audience, as symbols of learning and education, even if they are not fluent in English.
